Because no one has said the following vow (ever):
"I promise to carry you out of the bar, allow you to vomit in the parking lot, hold your golden hair while you paint that strangers hood, drive you home stopping for every drive heave you think is vomit, carry you inside, chase you around the house after some drunken energy kicks in, steam clean the stains the following morning after cooking you breakfast, and clearing the evidence from the camera you had to bring."
