Beach Fanatic
This weekend there are so many kids under the age of 21 driving our streets and highways and just as many drivers who are new here and don't know our roads. Locals we need to be careful too. A few minutes earlier to your destination is not worth the heartache it could cause.

PLEASE DRIVE DEFENSIVELY!!!
Thank You!

yep...B'Ham public schools, LSU and Walton Co. all out and about this week.

I just get frustrated sometimes at people rubber necking trying to sight see while they're driving when they should pull off the road so they don't endanger anyone. Makes me wish I could get a beach driving permit so I could avoid it all and take in the beach as well and stop occasionally for a picnic on the beach

Understand your frustration, but remember that a beach permit wouldn't solve anything, as all it allows you to do is go down at the Grayton access, go a certain distance back and forth (I want to say 500 ft but not at all sure) and come back up. Outside those boundaries, you might get stopped, but it wouldn't be for a picnic.
