Aren't you part of the Walton County Republican Leadership, I'm sure folks would notice, but we who are not afraid to vote our conscience, welcome you.

From the Times--Marc Caputo

$1.7 million to help Marissa Amora who was horridly abused. This is a priority of Senate President Jeff Atwater, who successfully carried her claims bill last year.

$760,00 to help Kimberly Godwin, who was also horridly abused. This is a priority of former Senate President Ken Pruitt.

$13.4 million to build an ammunition storage facility, "ambush live fire" and machine-gun range at Camp Blanding in Starke. As if the prison and execution chamber in town didn't make Starke scary enough.

I just read about the two girls' cases and they are indeed horrid. Marissa was awarded $26MM, but due to the economy, there is a reduction and hopefully an annuity set up for future payments. On Kimberly, the State claimed sovereign immunity - does that even hold up any longer when you have human beings making such egregious infractions? That case had tons of wrongful activity.

Ammo storage? $13.4MM........interesting times!

I think, under current statute, that if it is over 200K then they have to put through a claims bill. I imagine those were court awards and those bills had to be passed to get the victims paid.

I wonder just how much ammo you could store in a $13.4 million facility?

Keeping in mind that the Florida Board of Realtors gives hundreds of thousands to the RPOF every year, then maybe you can understand why enforcement and education is a top priority in Florida.

I wonder if anyone would notice if I switched to Independent.
I am getting so tired of these guys.

What, did you say something?
