WTB or trade for plants

Hello, fellow gardeners--

There are a few plants I'd like to have, and am hoping someone here has extra of these to sell or trade for what I've got.

Here are the plants/seeds I can offer:

Seeds and plants--Malabar spinach (easy greens that thrive in heat, for salad or cooking)

Seeds--Chinese kale (another green said to do well in heat)

Plants: yarrow, mint, chocolate mint, Greek oregano, lemongrass, aloe

Here are the plants I'd like to buy or trade for:

Silver King artemisia
Borage (I can't seem to get them to thrive when staring from seed)
Mullein
Lime mint

Once we had a SWELL (South Walton Environmental and Low-impact Living)gathering where everyone brought seeds or plant pips to share and trade. It was fun getting together with other gardeners and finding out what they had good luck with; also fun helping beginning gardeners find easy stuff to start with (I've been growing stuff for years and STILL prefer the easy stuff). Wonder if there's interest in doing something like that again?

Please PM me if you want to trade. Thanks.

this is such a great idea...seed swappin'....and drinking margaritas.

Apparently the sharing/swapping of seeds and plants among gardeners has been an informal, communal approach to selecting and propagating the best cultivars and helping to keep them going by spreading them around. So the idea of seed and plant swaps, as I understand it, is to bring seeds and plants that are not hybrids, GMOs, etc., that you know to be good stock and likely to thrive.

For a begnning gardener, that might be hard since there's not much experience -- in which case, bringing some purchased heirloom seeds to swap would make sense.

For real, is there any interest in having a swap? Maybe we could help Chandra schedule another SWELL swap when fall planting time comes around.

Why not do a swap during the Seaside Farmer's market? Is there a way to fit it in as a service during the market?
