Alligators in the bay, wild piglets in the yard

Its hard to say, coming from what I thought was a strong, tough, stubborn independent woman, but I humble myself now to say I am in need of PW 101!!

I have an important meeting scheduled for that time tomorrow, but dont you worry, I'm diligently working on my new PW patent-pending invention; its a beautiful compact umbrella with a multi-use carved handle that has mad-max stainless steel spikes, a gun barrel, taser, lasso, duct tape, and a galvanized steel spring loaded fly swatter that will make any potential violator of a PW inhabitant think twice about interfering with the owners right to quiet enjoyment of their property. Ok, just the walkway to the door & inside is all I'm askin.:creepy:

Whew...I am exhausted just reading the description of your invention. I promise, that we have some bad a$$ mad max too.......We might need to talk.

ChillPill - That was funny!! ..

"scare the holy tomatoes out of you" - now that's one I've never heard before! Where the heck did that originate?

.

Gosh I'm not sure, I tend to make up phrases so that I dont swear around anybody in public. This could be the case here. I'm pretty sure there really arent any holy tomatoes I should be sensitive about, so I wouldnt be offending anybody, right? Maybe green tomatoes? Ha!:D

Frogs!

Frogs (1972)

I can remember going to Eden just after they wrapped filming. The window in the living room was still broken from the last scene...

My aunt, who was caretaker and tour guide at Eden for many years, refused to go to the movies with us when it came out. The movie crews absolutely TRASHED the house.

But, we went - Florida Theatre in Panama City. My mom was excited because you could see our house in the scene with the speedboat in the bay. And my daddy and I ate frog legs after.

(Nowadays I couldn't choke down a frog leg if I wanted to - but back then it tasted like chicken.)

Someone say partae .......???

We can have a screening at my house and then walk to Eden in the dark....any takers???

That would be fun! It would be like the old graveyard walk after the Thursday night dance at Camp Harold Baird on Oyster Lake back in the 70's. They would take the older kids on a "walk" to a graveyard about a mile away down a dirt road well after dark. A couple camp councellors would hide in the graveyard and would jump out and scare the snot out of the kids.

Ahhhh...good times!

A classmate of mine was in Frogs (1972). He was the young boy. Name is Hal Hodges. His life was cut short in a car accident. He was from DeFuniak. we were all excited he was going to be in a real movie.
