Need Rental While Building

Hi property owners. My husband and I, and Natasha our spoiled rotten 7 yr old Aussie Shep. mix, will be needing a small (1 bedroom) place to rent while we are building our house in Blue Mtn. When I search for rentals I mostly stumble across vacation beach rentals, but that's not what we need. We don't need a beach rental and we don't even have to be in SRB area, Destin is fine too. House, apartment, condo - unfurnished and under $900. I have already lined up some apartments under $900, but thought I would ask you guys if you have any suggestions or own a place where you would like very dependable renters like us. Your place would be treated as if it were ours.

We have a good friend who may have an opening at her place in old Seagrove, always rents long term and very much appreciates good renters who take care of it (well of course all landlords do). She is out of the country and I don't know how to reach her till later in summer. How soon do you need to know for sure?
