yet another wreck in Seagrove?

I just heard about an accident yesterday about 6/7pm. Involving a newer Corvette and minivan in front of Angelinas? Someone told me the 'vette passed a line of cars waiting for a little girl on a bike to cross the street at the walkover @ Tom Thumb, almost hitting her, then shifted gears gunned it just to run into the back of the minivan.

I passed by that and the mullet haired driver looked intoxicated to me...

Car wrecks, prowlers, home invasions... it does cause one to pine for the good old days when all we worried about were lost flip-flops and tents on the beach...

I'm tellin' ya, we need a good old fashioned Sowal Posse........we will kill floats with knives, we will feed our dogs prowler, we will ram cars blocking emergency vehicles, we will sic Interested Girl on wayward politicians, bad drivers will have to ride with Crazy K for a whole day, we will capture and hold double red flad violaters in the holes left on the beach.................

This makes me so angry! Years ago we went to Hilton Head and after a week of pedestrian-unfriendly traffic, we vowed we'd never go back again. Cars never let people on foot or on bikes get across the road. It took the joy out of staying there because we're always walking or cycling.


I hope no one every leaves SoWal thinking the same, that they'd find better places to vacation because it wasn't safe to cross 30-A. What a horrible thing to almost kill a little girl just because she wanted get from one side of the road to the other! And for what? to save five minutes? They'd better find that Corvette and nail him to the wall.
