What I'm seeing

Today I found some nice stuff. I went to a new 'pseudo' reef and saw some amazing fish, you know, the little fluorescent blue and yellow ones. I also had a school of Spanich Mackerel begin to swim around me, when suddenly a huge number of lady fish and other fish came from behind and they all encircled me.

It was one amazing experience. The cirlcle they created was phenominal. I would spin around and watch it all. The fish worked together with such perfect harmony. It was like they had rehearsed the dance and enveloped me in their number.

The lady fish sometimes got to within three feet of me. I started, at one point, to feel odd, as if at any minute a huge shark would rummage through the fish and accidentally or purposely get me. It may have been around 4:30.

Anyway, if anyone wants me to take them out some time, maybe, just maybe I would do so. 985-860-2377
 
No offense, but an occurrence like that would have me doing my Jesus impression. I prefer not to be surrounded by bait fish. :eek:

Yep, family moved to Houma from the westbank when I was 5. Funny thing, most people can tell I'm from Louisiana by my accent and even had one person ask, 'Are you from Houma?' That's pretty amazing when someone can pick you out like that.

My granddad, who is 94 is just recently had a stroke, also may have contributed to my adventurous spirit. He was a Biology professor at Georgia State and had frequent excursions to far off lands, handling Green Mambas and various other critters.

He spent a lot of time in the Okefenokee swamp and would often pick up Eastern Diamondbacks found on the road. The stories he tells are amazing.

But yes, I'm from south Louisiana. I kinda got a little red yesterday from so much sun, but I'll have to venture out again this morning to see how the seas are laying down for me. I'd normally find a different spot along the beach, but there are some very 'interesting' people where I've been snorkeling lately. Intellectually and eye-popping interesting.
 
Hey, check this out. As you know I've basically not had a camera for the entire summer. I've missed so, so many amazing things that could be on film. And who knows what opportunities could have come my way if I'd presented those images to the public.

Anyway, I've been praying for a working camera and this morning called, voicing my disappointment. The guy I spoke to, like the rest, has been exemplary in his professinalism. He said, 'You've seemed to have a string of bad luck and it hasn't ended.' He told me that my camera being sent was, for reasons he could not assertain, 'Put on hold'. Wow! My camera has been being held up, not sent back to me because of a computer glitch. I feel like a cruel joke has been being played on me.

But you know what? I live here and the sun is shining. It will be okay. And hopefully, soon enough, images will again be on teh screen and you will see the wonders that I see.

Its not waterproof, but if you like we can lend you one of our Hi Def cams til yours comes back
Give us a shout if yes we can get it to you, now we would want you to post some on 30atelevision if thats agreeable
 
Tell you what, I may be reconciling soomething with a camera soon. Not real clear on it, but I'm hopeful. I am grateful for your offer and look forward to future possibilities. I'll let you know how things work out.
