US pays $400 per gallon for gas in Afghanistan

Again, seriously, who does the $400 per gallon go to? Do you think US soldiers tank the stuff in, or do you think government contractors, such as Halliburton, tank the the stuff in? Do they make a profit off of supplying the military with supplies? (Hint: these are all dumb questions...of course they do.) Why do you think Cheney is saying Obama is "dithering" about Afgan? Duh...
 
I did not know one of their largest crops was maryjane. This expensive gas is news to me, also. We should just leave, tightly protect our borders and keep intelligence working to snake out the terrorist cells.

According to the article, it's purchased in places like Pakistan, shipped to a central location in Afghanistan, then flown to the outlier locales.

Not sure why you seem obsessed with Halliburton in this, I don't think they are involved at all. If you find they are involved and that upsets you, you might consider sending a complaint letter to our current Commander in Chief.

Because he knows Obama is more concerned about his healthcare plan passing.

Don't the teabaggers keep saying they are so worried about spending, the debt, the deficit?

Seems like a pretty big issue they could be taking a stand on! ;-)
