Halloween II remake

My son and I went to see Halloween II this afternoon. It is the remake directed by Rob Zombie of White Zombie. It was not a bad movie considering it was a remake. It was as gory and slasher like as the original Halloween II if not more so. I don't remember many parts of the original Halloween II to know how similar it is to the remake. Anyway, I would say it is worth seeing for those who like those types of movies, many scary parts. I know it is past Halloween but it just opened this past Friday.

I love Rob Zombie I am not much of a Halloween series movie fan but I may catch it just to see the Rob Zombie spin on it. Did you see House of 1000 corpses or The Devils Rejects?

Yes, I have seen the House of 1000 corpses. I own it on DVD. I buy several old classic horror flicks off of Amazon. My favorite place to shop for books and movies.

Haha, I think I watch half of The Devils Rejects through my fingers but I love the B movies, they are so bad and so good, like Hotel Hell, that one is just funny. I am a total horror film freak but I love the scare more than the gore, not much on slasher films in general.

Haha, I think I watch half of The Devils Rejects through my fingers but I love the B movies, they are so bad and so good, like Hotel Hell, that one is just funny. I am a total horror film freak but I love the scare more than the gore, not much on slasher films in general.

I love horror movies also, I plan on seeing Twilight, New Moon when it comes to the theater November 20th. I would like reading that Dracula book, sounds good. I have not heard of the Devils Rejects but need to check out Amazon for it and that book. Both sound creepy. The Halloween II remake is full of gore and slashing. I won't go into much detail unless you want me to so you can make up your mind whether you can stand it or not.

No, you can skip the gorey details....lol. The Devils Rejects is a Rob Zombie film and he loves to get gorey so I watch and peek through my fingers during the really gorey parts. I love love Bram Stokers Dracula although I do wish someone else besides Winona Ryder would have played the part of Mina in the movie. It is really a love story when you get down to it and the new book is taken from notes by Bram Stoker that never made it into the original book and the writer consulted with current members of the Stoker family, should be a good read.
