I really like Mary Did You Know, also. Kathy Mattea does a very good version.

Any Christmas song by Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole or Johnny Mathis.

Then the childhood ones of Charlie Brown Christmas, Hippo song, Chipmunks, Rudolph, Holly Jolly Christmas.

I have a Pandora station JUST for Bing and Dean and the others Cmas music. When Nat sings "The Christmas Song" I just love it!

Charlie Brown, Holly Jolly and actually, I love the Home Alone song - "Candles In the Windows......." Don't know the name.

Great thread!

Glad you liked Walking In the Air - Have you NOT seen The Snowman?? It is a MUST see! Especially if you can watch with a child.

I too like the Home Alone theme song: Somewhere in my Memory. Bette Midler does a great version, which I could not find but enjoy the orginial from the movie by John Williams.

Gidget: I have never heard Walking in Air, it was beautiful, such a voice.

Johnrudy, do you have a link to the Cello Christmas?

AggieB, so ironic you listed "River", I was not really familar with this song, until it was mentioned in "You Got Mail" which I watched the other night and tonight I heard it on the radio and you listed it too. Strange how things happen like that.

I really like Celine Dion too. She is performing on the Disney World Christmas Day Parade presentation which was filmed while Kat and I were at Disney, she did her part at the Grand Floridian.

And possibly one of the most beautiful Christmas songs of all time: Let There Be Peace on Earth

Thank you. I can't find my Vince Gill CD and I thought I could make it without it. I'm going to look for the rest of it on You Tube!
