Christiano's opened in September in the location that used to be home to one of Guglielmo's restaurants (next to Fat Daddy's Pizza). I believe that the name of the plaza is the Santa Rosa Plaza, but I could be mistaken (it is west of Shrimper's Fish Market, on the north side of 98).

My husband, our son and I went there last Friday night, and will definitely return! Fantastic Italian food at reasonable prices, and great service. I had the mussells in a garlic cream sauce over linguine, and they were simply divine! My husband had spicy sausage in a marinara sauce over pasta, and our son had the ravioli, and they both ate everything on their plates. We can't comment on their desserts, since we were too full from the fabulous pasta.

Christiano's is owned and operated by Chef Chris Chirum and his wife. Chef Chirum was the Executive Chef at Sandestin when Elephant Walk was the place to be -- some of you may remember the Grouper Elizabeth that was a house specialty there; it is now featured at Christiano's.

If you're in the mood for wonderful Italian food, check out Christiano's!

Christiano's Ristorante is superb

We have searched from Panama City to Fort Walton Beach for a good Italian Restaurant. We are from the ethnic area of northeast Ohio near Cleveland, Ohio and have been very disappointed in Italian at the beach. We now live in Santa Rosa Beach and finally found our
Italian home. Christiano's has the best Italian Marinaro Sauce around. We have had lasagna, pizza, linquini with meatballs and shrimp pomadora there and just cannot wait to go back for another try. It was so good. The actual location in a little strip mall is not breathtaking but.......the food, service, and price all makes up for it. You will not find better Italian food on the beach. We have been coming to this area for 20 years and by far, this is the best that we have encountered. Do yourself a favor and try this place.
