Opinion Poll

How many think that the Republican members of Congress will sit in surly silence during the state of the Union Address? Who thinks the Repblican members of Congress will conduct themselves in a manner indicating they have some investment in the State of the Union, have opinions on the same and are willing to support the President and the Country?:idontno:

I think they ALL better behave like they are the highest elected representatives of our country - no fidgeting, no grandstanding, no messing w/ electronics, and no outbursts.

Considering that all of the members of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives are a collective disgrace to the country and the offices they hold, this poster presumes that the conduct "bar" set in Jensieblue's opinion poll is set too high for any office holder, regardless of their party to achieve.

The only conduct that will be undertaken by any senator or U.S. representative, will be the conduct necessary for them to attempt to continue to hold their office in the future, so that they can continue to get their "cut" of the "action".

It is time for U.S. citizens who have the right to vote to band together and vote out all incumbents regardless of their public service records, political philosophies, or personal conduct records, etc.

Meanwhile, this poster hopes that at the least, all members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives present at the event either act like ladies and gentlemen or just simply not attend.

Time will only tell.

I am sure the republicans will be as supportive and respectful as the democrats were to Bush when they were the minority:funn:
My question is why either side would be supportive when they are listening to someone spouting ideas they believe are wrong for the country? It is stupid to be all warm and fuzzy listening to things you totally disagree with. I respect honesty and loath hypocrites.

The key word in your rambling lunacy is respect. Since you don't feel it should be showed I will shield it from you.

Perhaps you would prefer congress were more like this?

I did not say to act like a two year old. What I said was why should someone applaud something they do not agree with? What is wrong with silence? Why is someone required to follow the leader just because they are the leader? O I forgot, he is the Chosen One, we must be quiet and fall in behind him.
And exactly who is the neo-nazi?:floor::floor::floor::floor::floor:

Silence is one thing, booing is a whole other story.

How about being the first supreme court justice to be scolded?
