In south AR it is fairly flat. We rarely get more than a couple inches that last a couple days. When those rare big snows come we are pretty stuck. I work at a hosp. I literally could not leave for 4 days and nights waiting on a new shift to be able to drive. We slept during the day and the day shift slept in our rooms at night. You really had better went and got their milk and bread. Now in central/north AR have the Ouachita Mtns. And the Ozarks in the North it is very hilly there and they get alot more snow. They have already missed 11 days of school in some areas. They will be in school forever.

It is snowing here 1/2 inch so far hoping for about 3. This is our first real snow we had a light dusting a few weeks back. My dtr already has snow in the freezer cause we might not see it again.

SNS, I don't think there will be shoveling here. However, Crestview (the weather oddity of Florida) is projected to receive between 6-8 inches of snow. :yikes:

I can't locate the feel good thread about winter, but you know what I will miss most....how my animals have different personalities. Sweet Pea loves the cold on her body and will sunbathe on the deck on a sunny cold day all day long. Cowboy is extra special snuggly because he hates cold weather and doesn't roam, hunt and gather as much. This has been a long winter! Adios, Old Man!

Second day of Spring and it snowed here. Who knew? Bbbbbrrrrrrrr~~~~~~~~~

It's a quick little snow though. You should be back warm tomorrow.
