bluebirds in walton co?

If you really want to attract blue birds, put mealworms in a small dish. You can attach a dish made for them to a pole place it on top of a fence post. They love 'em!

I have seen Bluebirds in Sowal, but (sigh) not in my yard. I think I am too heavily treed for Bluebirds that like more open spaces.

I did see an Indigo Bunting in my front yard the other day -very pretty!

wow - that might have been a bunting that i saw too - amazing blue!

Bluebirds are all over Pt. Washington. Lots of open space over Tucker Bayou and Peach Creek.

Regarding indigo buntings - aren't they beautiful? We even had the occasional glimpse at the painted bunting back home.

I had the joy of seeing a rose breasted grosbeak yesterday at our house in BMB. Absolutely beautiful. Guess it was heading north from it's tropical vacation....
