With hybrids it's reasonable to expect average overall mpg to at least double in the coming years. Already, all electric cars are starting to look more and more practical. For a lot of people, 100 miles per charge would be more than enough for most day to day activities. But no! our very survival depends on us tapping a very dirty natural resource in a fluid medium where it can spread and destroy irreplaceable natural wonders. And in the name of patriotism we need to do this immediately.
