I encourage everyone in Florida to contact your state representatives and senators. Neither Senator Gaetz or Representative Coley was willing to vote against drilling within 3-10 miles off our shore during the 2009 Legislative Session.

They voted for it!

and when we went to talk with them this Session, Senator Gaetz did not even keep his appointment with us; and Representative Coley said she needed to keep an open mind to keep "her seat at the table" (of the Leadership of the House).

Hopefully, this disaster will put the entire question off the table--but, one can never be sure. The members of the Florida Legislature need to hear how the people feel about it and they need to hear it loud and clear.
