Well, we topped this one today. Two words. Ceiling fan. :shock:

Think of every possible cuss word known to man...check.
Power off....check.
Wiring not the color it's supposed to be....check.
Screw holes don't line up like they should...check.
Find and use 4 screwdrivers AND a drill.....check.
Assemble according to package directions...check.
Turn power back on....check.
Turn CF on.........no check.

More cuss words than even I could say in a 60 second time period....check

Five hours...check

Starting over again....no way. Not today.
This thing may be purely decorative. :shock:
 
It took me three days to finish hanging one ceiling fan. No joke. Had to take it back apart and put the black wire to the black and white wire, and put a battery in the remote, which has little buttons that have to be set on the same frequency as the buttons on the transmitter in the fan. I forgot to put one screw in the fan blade brackets and had to dissassemble and assemble once more. I'd be glad to drive over to your house and fix your ceiling fan for TEN MILLION DOLLARS! :sarc:
 
Oh, DD, hubby feels your pain. He has been working for hours to install an outdoor electrical outlet for wedding lighting.:(
 
It's hotern Georgia Asphalt there, right? That will make someone irritable enough in about 30 seconds just walking to the mailbax.
