I know we have many fabulous eateries in our area serving every menu item you could imagine. I would like to take a moment to give props to one local proprietor that simply does an awesome job in a minimal space.

Those of you who happen to frequent the Grayton General Store already know what I'm talkin' about and those of you who don't need to stop by.

Paul and his crew start serving delicious breakfast items, including biscuits and gravy as well as other traditional biscuit toppings, at 7 a.m. each morning.

At the same time, fresh ham, turkey breast and Cajun seasoned chicken are baking in the oven.

All day long they build a variety of personalized sandwiches on bread freshly made in house. My personal favorite is the turkey and ham club with provolone cheese, mayo, mustard, vinaigrette, Greek peppers, jalape?os, oregano and fresh sliced avocado. Yummy!

Every day the line seems to grow a little longer and there's no wonder why. The service is fast, the prices are unbeatable and the menu that includes some of the best smoked tuna dip, chicken salad and Cajun shrimp salad I've ever had.

If your in Grayton, stop by and give them a try, you wont be disappointed. :-)

Paul is ruling that deli, and yes, the smoked tuna dip is now my current favorite on 30A.

Raw tomato looks so yummy but it gags me dangit! I don't get it either. When I was a kid, my mom would often make us tomato sandwiches and I loved them. Now, I don't even want to know YOU'RE eating them! :-)

I totally agree! Paul's turkey sandwich with cheese, tomato, sprouts, and avocado (using fresh turkey breast that he's roasted that day and fresh avocado) is delicious!

What a find and what great prices! You can find Paul at the Grayton General Store at the corner of 30A and 283.

Well Jenny, as many if you know, his place on 98 "The Caf" is a favorite of many of our SoWal kids! Yummy ;-)

MMMmmmmmm Big juicy ripe tomatoes on some soft potato bread and lots of miracle whip (way better then mayo on a tomato sandwich!) Yum! :)

Not...

:-)

My not was for DTI and his gross 'mater sammich ;-)
