Last night about 8pm, yes I know it is dark then, I was in my dingy about 300yds out (dune allen) and I hooked one about the same size. It was fun for about 15 mins until my reel ran out of line (300+yds) and I had the drag as tight as it would go. I need a bigger reel and possibly a bigger boat. Actually I have a CC but the dingy from the surf just adds something to the experience that the CC doesn't have. Bait was 3ft lady fish. The anchor did a pretty good job as I thought I might get a free boat ride as well. I normally fish from the surf only but the June grass made me try the dingy. priceless.
