Racist Anti-Mosquers

New posts
I don't know about you, but I think intolerance and lack of understanding are the defining qualities of racism. It's just as bad I think. Well, actually I think they are one and the same. I'm not trying to create pariahs, I'm saying it's just plain wrong. The more thoughtful among us have an obligation to put a stop to this.

Intolerance of alternative views comes in many forms. Often times those who are the most intolerant dress their hate in moral obligation.

I'm not going to defend the people in New York, they clearly haven't thought things through or are incapable of seeing the big picture. But I think stuff like this is emblematic of our society. We are generally intolerance of people who believe differently, especially when it comes to religion.

Rationalize, rationalize, rationalize.

Yes, I'm against it. You, I'm not so sure.

You're against a behavioral charactaristic? it's not a democrat or republican viewpoint, it's psychology. You don't know me. Don't label me.

The term ?mob mentality? is used to refer to unique behavioral characteristics which emerge when people are in large groups. It is sometimes used disparagingly, as the term ?mob? typically conjures up an image of a disorganized, aggressive, panicked group of people. Social psychologists who study group behavior tend to prefer terms like ?herd behavior? or ?crowd hysteria.? The study of mob mentality is quite fascinating, and it is used to analyze situations which range from evacuations gone awry to the moment when demonstrations turn violent.

Don't blame me just because you you give unbridled support to maladaptive behavioral traits. Blame it on the Stockholm Syndrome.:idontno:
