Bush on Obama

I saw a preview video clip yesterday of the interview Oprah will do with George W. Bush. I've got to say even though he's not one of my favorite presidents, he is showing some class regarding the Obama presidency. Oprah even tries to get him to comment on Palin and he won't bite.

"I don't think it's good for a former President to be out there opining on every darned issue," Bush adds. "He's got a plenty tough job. Trust me. And there's gonna be plenty of critics and he doesn't need me criticizing him. And I don't think it's good for the presidency. Other people have a different point of view."

I think in the long run he's going to make a pretty good ex-president.

History will show him as an abysmal failure of a President, I don't think as an ex prez he will fare any better. Out of much guilt over his adminstration's and poor choices and policies, he has become a Howard Hughes type recluse--History will actually be kinder to Jimmy Carter.

Yesterday, referencing Katrina and its aftermath, I read that singer Kanye West's comments about him was the single thing that hurt him the most during his presidency.. (...Not his lack of respnse to all the people of New Orleans).

I completely disagree.

Some of our Presidents have class. They will not speak out about a sitting President or one out of Office. Others, not mentioning any names, can't stop running off at the mouth...very low class in my opinion.

You forgot the sarcasm smiley.

I am not talking to you! :D

PS: Thanks for the present on my front lawn on Nov. 3--the neighbors think I am one of them!

Just be glad they were so few, took me a while to find that one otherwise you'd have had a flock.

I was mindful of the sprinkler system as well. ;-)
