Are these crazy preacher guys serious?

I came across one of these guys last year at the Super Bowl and just thought it was the funniest thing. And I hope I get to see many more in college.

Have any of you ever known one of these people? Are they serious when they do this or what?

In my day we had Hare Krishna. Alot more peaceful. We were given flowers. Street preachers are every where and are kinda nuts. Move on and mind your own business.

Well, universities are places for open discussion. He wouldn't continue to do it if he couldn't garner an audience. The most troubleing thing to is whether he is a student or not. Maybe he's a grad student conducting an experiment? Would think that he would have to register for a visitor's pass to just roam around campus and preach.

Oh, no. He is not a student. He does this full time during the school year on campuses all over the Southeast.

He garners an audience because it is entertaining. I just can't figure out if in his head, he actually believes he is convincing anyone.

ist amendment is cool, but this isn't a discussion. i believe he's providing the kids an example through his actions.
