I typed one sentence about how we should stop squabbling and DO something and you had to nitpick it?

Many of the things I was suggesting we implement were the reforms to fund things!

Never in our lives have Dad and I seen such over analysis of what was really a very simple message. That is, "Wake up and smell the coffee America". You're going to have to devote more time to being smarter and more educated. It's that simple.

My dad has skin color like that, he spent all day in an office and every waking hour outside of that working in his garden. He had a nice permatan. I'd say anybody who looks like that has spent their fair share of time working out doors.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. What I want to know is if anyone watching on CNN heard the exchange Obama and Hillary had as he was making his way to the podium. She clearly said something like"Great speech, Mr President" to which he replied something that sounded like "I might wing it...I hope I suck"...I'm not kidding, we DVR'd it and watched it over and over. Obama was muffled, but I swear it sounded like he jokingly said something really self deprecating. I think what he might have said was something akin to "If you and Bill read it and liked it, it must not suck". Did anyone else see/hear this? I have not heard any mention of it.
