2011 State of the Union Address

New posts
Who, in your view, can beat Obama? Sarah Palin? Nope. Newt? Nope. Romney? Nope. Guiliani? Nope. The best bet reps have is probably in Pawlenty, but I don't think he has a chance. Obama will likely get a lot of moderates in this next election, the hard and middle of the road lefties, and every motivated black voter in the country, that's a big chunk of the electorate.

Are you implying that black people are racist?

It wouldn't take much of an opponent to topple the fiscal disaster that is Obama. If you want to keep your doctor liar in chief.

He's had twice as many Quayle moments yet the hyopcrites that support him give him a free pass? There's a ton of reasons he wont pull through.

The GOP controlled House will rein in his radical left agenda making him appear more moderate. This will help but I think Americans in two more years will be tired of the continued recession and want someone fresh but not inexperienced like Obama.

You will need more than false talking points and Quayle comparisons - you will need an actual candidate!

Many Americans think Obama is a good president and many of the independent voters who elected Republicans in 2010 are primed to vote for him in 2012.

Republicans were elected in 2010 because of the economy. The recent "just for show" health care repeal and focus on abortion has angered many voters.

Scooter,

Obviously we disagree, that's ok. I just think I'm in better tune with the majority of Americans than you are right now. I was right about the huge shift in the House long before it happened when many on here denied it then pretended it didn't matter. A lot can happen in the next 22 months.

 Show me a poll that indicates this.

Andrew,
You sound biased and quite frankly- radical in your assessment of Obama. The guy is a centrist- not only according to the pundits but in comparison to presidents in the last 100 years based on policy. I can prove it if u make me.

Meant to say-
Hammer him in ideology or policy but to cite his intellect as a reason he would lose in 2012- Let's be honest here. It's like saying Barry Bonds won't end up in the hall of fame because he can't hit home runs...
