Which one is your fave?
I love a smooth, thick, bold line. Not any of those micro thin ones.
Suggestions?

Imma big fan of those new Sharpie pens. Great stuff. My handwriting always looks neater when I use something bolder... :idontno:

My favorite pen is my special edition black Parker Duofold ballpoint with 23-carat gold trim and a medium black refill. No one touches that pen but me. I am very OCD about this pen. A Christmas gift from hubby who has a pen fettish.

My favorite pen for grading papers is the cheap Pilot G2 gel pen in orange (go Gators). It doesn't photocopy very well, so if I think I have a class with a possible cheating violation, I use the magenta version which photocopies well. Grading with a red pen is considered threatening.

My favorite pencil is the el-cheapo Paper-Mate Sharpwriter in #2.

Hubby's favorites are the Montblanc Meisterst?ck 149 fountain pen, Meisterst?ck Le Grand fountain pen, Meisterst?ck Doue silver rollerball, and probably eight others in his extensive collection which he carries with him. Oh, and the Parker Duofold Special Edition rollerball in orange (go Gators) and the Parker Duofold ballpoint with gel refill.

As an artist, our daughter is even more particular about her writing instruments. Her list would be longer than hubby's.

TMI, but you asked.

Edit: Our daughter loves her Lamy fountain pen, her Pentel RSVP medium ballpoint, Dynamite medium, her favorite drafting pencil which is missing, doesn't like rollerball, likes cheap Bic, and Varsity fountain pens. Different budget. ;-)

I am with you. I hate a pen that is scratchy when it writes:eek: I like to write with pencils best, 0.7 lead.

Me too. Quantity more important than quality. I buy a bag of them at a time so I can find one at all times.

For writing and drawing, I love the good old papermate felt tip flair pen. Great for smooth-thick-bold lines, no fumes like sharpies.

Wow. Who knew anyone besides me put a lot of thought into this. Thanks for all the suggestions. BR--you do crack me up. I think I might go with Godessgal's suggestion and try a good old Flair. Haven't used one in years.
