Disc golf!! Yipee

Took the boys to practice at the Freeport Sports Complex and spied the shiny silver baskets!! This is better than when I got that Red Rider bb gun with a compass in the stock... Thank you thank you.

Oh hell yes!! Well since I'm off the next 2 days and can't get a tee time at any local golf courses...if anyone wants to play please PM me. It's gonna be awesome weather!!

The first tee is up toward the playground shooting back down behind the basketball courts. It loops down the road and back around behind the park. Lots of water hazards. Short holes but I am so excited to have one nearby!

What kind of water hazards are we talking about? Not the kind you can lose your frisbee in I hope...although I can throw a disc better than I can hit the ball.

There are a couple of small "ponds." I'm not sure how hazardous they are yet since I didn't have a disc in the car. I pretty much suck at it but love a day of disc golf!

Played the course yesterday. There are alot of water holes and learned my disc did not float the hard way. The course is awesome although a little difficult to learn the hole placement of the course. Although I havent played since college (almost 30 years ago) and I played terribly......I would love to play again if anyone is interested.
