P. U. E. ...something's rotten in WC!

New posts
Yep, on the far side of Panama City and you can smell it if conditions are right. With gentle winds out of the east and heavy fog, the smell will stay close to the earth and travel for miles. Fortunately, those days are few. Hey, but you can drive over to the mill and get a free car wash in exchange for the problems it poses to the community. (seriously)

One other thing is that the lift stations, like the one near 283/30A, smell much like a paper mill. If the wind was blowing slightly out of the west, you may have been smelling that lift station. All of them will be a little more stinky on foggy days.

What is a lift station?

They are part of the sewage system and get smelly - that frequent stink as you head up/down the hill at 395 is a good example.

lift stations smell like a bad case of diarreah (bio-natural); pulp mills smell like the inside of a Port-o-let (chemi-natural)....it's like comparing apples to aardvarks in the realm of stink.

It's located here:

It used to be operated by Smurfitt Stone, but was recently purchased by a sowal part timer.
