Texas is Burning

[DD]

Lots of wild fires out west.
Lots of smoke/haze and smoke smell here.
Lots of wind fanning the fires.
Electricity going off and on here. Pucking wind.

And what fields aren't burning are sharing a few million cubic feet of soil with us - whether we want it or not! ..

NS. I'm sooooooo glad I didn't wash my car this week. I would have been really mad.

Oh yes - a rather blustery day to say the least!

Landagoshen! This sounds like 30's Era Dust Bowl storms???

[DD]

The fires are getting closer to metroplex. 94 tomorrow with 30mph winds and very low humidity. No rain predicted til weekend. I'm so sad for these folks out west.

[Miss Kitty]

Holy Cow! This is horrible!

[Teresa]

94??? wow.
it sounds terribly scary.

It is scary. So much tagedy in the world today. Every time you turn on the t.v. there is another tragedy some place else and it seems to be all around the world. We really need to live each day as though it is the last and be grateful that our little Paradise still looks like Paradise. Have a great day everyone and I will be praying for Texas as well as all others that are waking up to a nightmare. I cannot think of any other way to put it "nightmare".

I know this is bad, and a horrible tragedy for many, but if CNN doesn't stop broadcasting from Possum Kingdom I'm going to giggle through the whole thing.
