I am also encouraged by what was found in his compound and hope it is helpful. I am not so delusional that I think this is the end of bin Laden's style of terrorism in the world, but maybe we will find info that will help us gain a better understanding of this type of mentality and use it to tear it down bit by bit.

The death of such a horrible man is notable in that he will not live another day to torture and kill others. While I don't celebrate a man's death, there are just some people that don't live as decent humans and don't deserve to share the same air with the rest of us. Capturing him would have been a complete mess and just kept his name on the radar a lot longer - his followers will have to worry about their own butts and won't have time to mourn him too long.

God bless our Armed Forces, all the people not wearing uniforms who sat behind computers and desks and video cameras, collecting information for YEARS, the informants and spies from other nations, and President Obama for making the hard decision that enough is enough. Now the our government's hard work starts- finding out what is really going on in Pakistan.....

I have seen it and heard the reports of a "double-tap to the left side of his head" and am pretty sure that it is fake because the left side of his head was still there in the picture.

I totally agree. Now I see why Obama was so annoyed by Trump asking for his birth certificate and then his transcripts. Trivia compared to what Obama was deciding. It makes Trump look even weaker as a potential candidate than he already is.



I admire Obama so much for realizing that he shouldn't involve Pakistan in the raid because there would have been leaks.

Yeah, I agree, It doesn't look good to find petty or insignificant differences in your opposition- it makes the speaker look like an idiot. If there is a valid flaw in the opponent that puts you on top , then speak it, but if that is all the ammo Trump has, it's lame. I'm not sure this is Trump's game, may be out of his league. He should stick to what he does well. I actually like Trump, but if he is being goofy I'm going to say it.

There are no officially released photos of Bin Laden. Anything you see is a fake. The story from the Whitehouse is that he took one shot to the head and another to the chest. Everything else is sensationalism and hopefully not the focus.
