We are getting a lot of local news on GW's statement and folks celebrating near his home. He has been humble, nonpartisan, and gracious. He truly cares about our country and recognizes the roll Obama played in following this through.

I agree, Andy.

President Obama is to be given credit for ordering this attack when it was obvious that it was risky and might be subject to failure. That said, it was obviously magnificently carried out and our Navy Seals are a special breed. But, personally I was already aware of that fact as I worked for one for years. Congratulations to our President and our military for a job well done.

I totally agree. Now I see why Obama was so annoyed by Trump asking for his birth certificate and then his transcripts. Trivia compared to what Obama was deciding. It makes Trump look even weaker as a potential candidate than he already is.

I admire Obama so much for realizing that he shouldn't involve Pakistan in the raid because there would have been leaks.

I wonder if they had the chance to grab any good intelligence from the compound? A laptop with names maybe, or a cell phone.. quite a coupe if they did.

The CIA has retrieved both electronics and hard drives during the attack on Bin Laden's compound. It is almost a certainty that there will be informatiion of value because of their being obtained.
