What's going on with the planned community of Riverwalk in Freeport?

Hi Everyone,

I don't know much about the area. Can someone fill me in on what is happening with the planned community of Riverwalk in Freeport? Are the developers and City going through with it? Is it being built as per the original plan and amenities? Anyone know of any construction (water, sewage, utilities, roads etc...) going on there? Is it worth buying land/lot there?

It borders Four Mile Creek which would have allowed for deep water access. Such a pretty piece of property.
