I was about to say the same thing. The apparent beauty of the above mentioned Post #107 is that it was a period in recent history when there were an equal number of Republican and Democratic administrations and defense spending was deleted. This seems to be a great way of comparing apples to apples. Shopper wants to change the time periods, which could be difficult as best, and could result in fruit salad, if you know what I mean. Wouldn't it just be easier for him to believe his own propaganda?

The results posted are based on averages - the less data you have in a study like that the less accurate the results are. Adding more data points improves the results. Hand picking a set of data points within a data set is very questionable.

As I said though, I'm not so much interested in results based on who was president, I'm more interested in results and the balance of power. The presidency is one of three centers of power in the budgeting process, to look at one and ignore the other two makes no sense.

We get it, you are a shill for the democrats and think they do no wrong. I have no interest in scoring partisan political points because I think both parties are equally at fault. You criticized conservatives for concentrating on social issues and then claimed I side stepped them when I stated that the fiscal issues are what we must concentrate on. Which do you want?
