Been coming there for many years, and it never disappoints, even when cold or raining or blazing hot. We were there for Thanksgiving for the first time, and the weather was just plain breathtaking. You folks who live here full time have a treasure all around you, all the time. Many of us visitors envy you.

Mack, SoWal is the happiest, most magical place I've ever lived. The vast majority of people who call this beautiful locale 'home', do so by conscious choice (not by force or default as some other places I've lived). I believe that resulting joy feeds out into the environment and helps expand Mother Nature's glory thousands-fold. So glad y'all enjoy it here too!

November is the BEST time of year in South Walton!

It has been especially beautiful in South Walton this fall/winter. We've been here virtually every other weekend since Labor Day. We've really, really enjoyed it -- the sunny days, the cloudy days, the warm days, the cool days.

Only time we have a problem is when it's rainy -- have to pick just the right time to let our poodle out because she doesn't like to get her pretty little self wet. New house has a garage, so when it rains. we will put down an impervious product on the garage floor and cover it in newspaper (just like in GA). So we can then enjoy rainy days too.
