Yes. The PopeYES signs were posted in NOLA by the owner Al Copeland when the Pope visited NOLA. They were all so excited about the visit. Our architect Samuel Wilson Jr. wrote a book dedicated to the Pope. As a result, he was invited to a private meeting with the Pope. That was the proudest moment of Sam's life.
I thought that it was clever that Copeland converted Popeye's to PopeYES for the Pope's visit.
