80's hair bands!
The group is adding an 80's hair band mini-set. Already have Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Ratt, Van Halen, and Whitesnake. We're adding VH's Pound Cake...granted...it's from '91. Great tune!

Admittedly, I'm torn between Van Halen and Van "Hagar"!

If Sowal or any of the surrounding area ever gets a venue that plays good ol' kickin' rock, we would love to play down there! Here's a video from our show last Friday. Sound sux. It was recorded on an iPhone...

Cool. What's the name of your big hair band?

great song, horrible product

I feel the same way about orange juice. It's loaded with sugar, about 36g per 12 oz. Coke has 39. Calorically, Coke has 140, OJ has about 160. Orange juice is very acidic and causes me nasty stomach distress. I won't touch it with a ten foot pole. I haven't had it in years, and don't miss it in the least. If I were to start my day with a sugar drink, which I'm not, it would be a can of Coke over a glass of OJ any day of the year.

I have a friend whose business partner flew a charter jet that had just ferried some Coca Cola executives back in the mid 80s timeframe. The friend found a folder that contained in it a study[funded by Coke] of the addictive nature of Coke. The animals in the study were monkeys and were given unlimited access to the product. The study made clear just how addictive the nature of the product was with it's exquisite confluence of dehydrating CO2, sugar, and caffeine and how it made the study subjects shun traditional food for successive "hits" Coke. I would say sugar in our diet is the greatest cause of self induced health issues in this country. Coke is "the" iconic American brand. You most likely know of people who will drink the product throughout the day, but you'd never see the same with fruit juice. Maybe Bob Dylan should sell his soul to Coca Cola instead of Fiat.

I used to drink about 72 OZ a day, sometimes as much as a gallon back in college days when I worked in a kitchen. I was bored and it was free. Outside of work i rarely touched the stuff. I didn't put on weight at all. I think the addiction rumors are utter nonsense. I never gave a thought to going without it when the time came. I like to drink other beverages, and variety is the spice of life. Mt Dew was my methadone so to speak. Any addiction potential is probably due to caffeine, which I am happily addicted to but can easily get from other sources. Maybe the good taste of coke has something to do with it too its attraction. I did start to notice that mass quantities would give me this dry feeling in the back of my throat which was easily alleviated by mass quantities of delicious sugary and fruity pastries (also free) of all kinds. I started to cut back on the sugar when I realized I wasn't a kid anymore and figured that if I was going to start to accumulate fat, let it be from wonderful and delicious alcoholic beverages.

I need my coffee no doubt. Always black, no sugar. As for OJ, before I had problems with it I would regularly go to the fridge and chug it right from the carton throughout the day. I loved the stuff and craved it more thanI ever did Coca Cola. Now I only buy coke when it's on sale, and then it's only diet. I don't buy into this crap about aspartame being dangerous. I'm willing to chance it if nothing else. It tastes better than most other diet soft drinks. I don't see coke as being any worse than any other unnecessary nutrient. I say if you're young, drink up and enjoy it, but understand you can't do it forever. As for Bob Dylan, after he went electric at the Newport Folk festival, I knew he would lose all his fans and be long forgotten.

Oh yeah, here's what I'm listening to. I remember hearing this befor I could even talk.

Good for him! He can do whatever he wants, he's earned the right.

On July 21, 2011, Fiat bought the Chrysler shares held by the United States Treasury.[42] With the purchase, Chrysler once again became foreign owned; this time Italian car maker Fiat gained majority ownership and control of Chrysler.[43] The United States government's involvement in the Chrysler bankruptcy cost $1.3 billion.[43] On January 1, 2014, Fiat announced it would be acquiring the remaining shares of Chrysler owned by the VEBA worth $3.65 billion.[44] The deal was completed on January 21, 2014.[45] Several days later, the intended reorganization of Fiat and Chrysler under a new holding company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, together with a new FCA logo were announced.[46]

"The answer my friend is blowing hard in the wind".. this logo ain't fellowship of christian athletes...it's a failed company propped up by tax dollars and private equity vermin and then sold to Italy.
