Tourist Thieves

What's a Yeti?

Rich or poor, whatever happened to the efficiency of a basic, hard plastic cooler? I get them at yard sales and use them for everything from fishing, transporting freshly bought seafood, a day at the beach, hiding bodies.... ;-)

I am sorry someone stole your Yeti. May I ask how you know it was a tourist? Just curious.

It's like an armored assault vehicle to carry your Bud Light.

Actually I heard of it for the first time a week ago. I've decided I would try to make my own cooler before I buy one of those. In other words it's not going to happen. Just for the record, stealing coolers is bad and wrong. I have a basic rule that the contents of my cooler must cost more than the cooler itself.

My Yeti full of Natural Lights makes me sooo happy.

Yep. Gone.

Was it left out in the open for all to see? I mean if it was then it's your own fault for it getting stolen. Leaving anything unattended during spring break and the summer season around the are is not a smart thing to do. Maybe put some bio-hazard and human body part stickers on the next one and no one will bother it. Or just lock it up.

I find it completely and utterly appalling that someone is venting about having their cooler stolen and being lambasted for paying too much for his/her cooler and/OR leaving sitting somewhere in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the county. Ridiculous.

Using that same logic, you would all say that rape victims were responsible for being raped because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time or that they paid too much for their clothes.

A crime is a crime.

i agree wesman... It's sad that he's been attacked, whether it was a $30 or $300 cooler or whether it was tourists or some local kids that took it. Keep your eyes peeled for it. And check craigslist, I know someone whose bike was stolen and put in craigslist for sale that same day!
