You and your ilk never cease to amaze me. You are definitely entitled to voice any opinion you desire under our 1st Amendment of the Constitution. But to call a gentleman and officer who spent most of his life "a deranged ahole" shows how little you value those who give you the right to say the things you say. What have you done to further the principles and values of this nation and the citizens of it? Have you spent one minute answering a call you might not personally believe in but did it anyway because it was your duty and obligation to do so? I have serious doubts you have. If you have, I stand corrected and if not you need to grow up, get a life and say a big "thanks for your effort" to those who have done so. That definitely includes "the deranged ahole" Lt. Col Allen West, USA (Retired) Forget the idea of banning people. I was mistaken. It is much better to allow you and one or two others to spew your ridiculous thought for all to thoughtfully analyze, see and reject.

You think your military service gives you license to be unilaterally inflammatory and abusive to others. How shameful! How Allen West-like.

I note with interest that you not only think my military service gives me "licence" for certain unusual privliges but allows me to be abusive as well. It does not! What my American citizenship, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights allows me is the capablility to call out those with which I not only disagree, but find ill knowlegeable as well. That includes you and those that thank you for a ridiculous answer to a post supporting a fellow service man, whether I agree with him or not. I don't need you or any of your ilk calling anyone who has served this country a "deranged ahole", but then again, it shows your true colors. I stand by my post! BTW, I also note you didn't answer my question as to what you have done to further or support our nation. I'm sure, even you, have done something you consider commendable. Let us all hear it.

I have no obligation or desire to share any [personal] information with with you about anything, so I don't know who you think you are. I'm perfectly comfortable with you and your "ilk" thinking I'm a complete deadbeat who never has and never will accomplish anything meaningful in life. Also judging by your inflammatory, denigrating, and insulting rhetoric, I would be perfectly happy it if you and your "ilk" would stay as far away from me, and have as little involvement with me and my life as humanly possible. So anyway, Allen West is a piece of crap! I stand by my post.

Also, I want to make something clear. I don't think that your service gives you the right to be abusive, not at all. I think that you think that.
