Do people only monitor WCSD during election seasons?

[Honeydo]

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone cared what the school district does if it is not election season. Does anyone care who is hired for district level high ranking (and paying) positions. you should remember this if teachers have to be cut.

Is the Michael Davis that has qualified to run for the Superintendent of Schools position
the principal of the Emerald Coast Technical College?

The Mike Davis I know has been with the Walton County school system for a number of years. He was also principal at Walton High and if I'm not mistaken he was also at one of the middle schools. Always thought he was a pretty decent guy.

Mike Davis and Mark Davis are brothers. Their father was a long-time coach and principal in the district. All 3 are fine men.
