CONGRATULATIONS LOCAL DRIVERS ON 98!! You have officially surpassed "tourists" as being the biggest health hazard on our beloved little stretch of highway. I have been watching and the only tags that have been on cars that aggressively pull up behind or next to me and switch lanes dangerously close (at speeds FAR exceeding the posted speed limits....I say that because I have been going 7-10mph OVER them myself) But when you cut me off,make me slam on brakes and then I lose sight of you within 10-20 seconds....yea, its safe to say you are up there in the "reckless driving" range. And this isnt a one time thing...it happens ALOT. And pretty sure all the hit and runs lately...yep been locals doing the driving. Way to go guys....hope you have a safe summer and dont kill me or any of my friends...
 
The only lane I do the speed limit in is the right lane and I move over for faster traffic when I am in the left lane. There are those who believe driving the speed limit in the left lane is cool and refuse to move over when traffic overtakes them. No courtesy from any driver.

If the texters would stay right, stay home, or stay off their f'n devices while driving, then traffic would move in a supremely safer manner. That doesn't excuse the agressive aholes, but it does prove that two wrongs don't make right.
 
Just a note..I WAS in the right lane on all 4 occasions this happened... exceeding the speed limit myself. The fifth time I was in the left because I was coming up on my left turn intersection. It is still no excuse for unsafe driving nor aggressive behavior on the roads. Maybe some people think it is cool to go 15-20 mph over the speed limit and endanger everyone on the road with them. But that is ok..I will continue to let them be the first one to that red light we always get stopped at.

That would be valid on I-10 where there are no opportunities to turn left. On 98, how many stretches of road are sans left turns?
