I've always enjoyed your quotes through the years, but I've always been at a loss as to how to respond. Should I just say, "Wow, Bob, that is profound!" or should I respond with my own thoughts on the theme of the quotation. I had thought the quotes were meant to stir thought and discussion rather than to be a short bleak leak of somebody else's mind. I wasn't trying to be all that sarcastic. I was attempting to find a real world application for the wisdom. I find wisdom without useful application to be an exercise in trite profundity.
you could consider the quote and think about how it relates to your own experience. you could then share a nugget you found through your own source. you don't need a response by linking everything to politics.

I'm contributing what I want to contribute. If you can show me your copyright for this thread we might come to some type of cease and desist agreement.
What are you contributing. What can I learn from your posts? I'm reading you,Banned, and Lakeview, and the bandwidth is tight. You guys have your own sandbox alone in the dunes for a reason.

The subject of the quote lent itself to politics. I asked you directly what great ideas President Trump has put forth, and you did the typical Trumpian move of misdirection. You don't get it do you. Everything will have the Trump brand on it, from here on out.

You read quotes that are current and relevant to life today. You learn what a complete unqualified incompetent asshat tool your next President is. Your dead guy quotes have less of an impact on my life.

is this how you envision your future?

No, those aren't my views. I'm characterizing your attitude and your silly self-serving quote thread.

Not that I necessarily agree with your characterization, but if you see it that way, frankly I don't give a rat's ass.

dead guy quotes? did that take you more than 5 seconds to think through?

that's your perception, but my perception is you have one gear, one gear only, and it's fairly well boring

Thou jarring fool-born malcontent!
