I'm thinking about it, share your thoughts.......

I subscribed when first offered and cancelled the second day. At that time it could only be installed on one device which sucked. Not sure about their current policy.

The company said all you need is internet and a flat screen tv. Do you mind elaborating on the device and why it sucked? Thanks

The only reason it sucked was because at that time you could only use it on one device. I have six Rokus. At $20 per it wasn't a big savings. The quality of picture was fine. As I said, they may have changed and now allow use of one account on multiple devices. I just alacart everything. I pay for Hulu, Showtime, HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime and have many free channels like for news I have ABC, CBS, NBC, Sky News, and some weather apps. I also have YouTube and some craft making and kids programming aps for my grandkids and other various oddball stuff I never watch. The big drawback on cable cutting is sports and cable companies know this. Hulu is really nice. You get most network shows the following day commercial free. No need to pay cable for a DVR because the entire programming library is always available. The biggest plus to cutting the cord is picture quality. I could never get through an HD cable program on Cox without it pixelating multiple times. It is now s very rare occurrence.

Sony PS Vue service on Fire TV box is the way to go. (I've tried Roku and Sling also and just not as good, PS Vue on Roku interface is not as good as Fire.)
Add Amazon Prime and HBO, Netflix, etc for kickers. Direct TV just added a streaming TV service also but it might need a little time to mature.

Check with your internet provider though - if they charge more when you stream more then it might get too expensive.

I looked up the sling policy and it appears for $25 you can have upto 3 screens available. Although it was not clear whether I could watch the same thing on all 3 screens at the same time.

Just get a splitter and you can watch the same thing on as many screens as you want.

Well thanks everyone for the opinions.....
Pappaj, could an imbecile hook the apparatice up with the directions they provide? That's my worry, I'm so sick of the increase of monthly payments for disruptive cable TV. I realize you didn't have Sling long but overall if you knew you could have used a splitter to your other tv's/devices would you have been happy or was there something else?

A splitter wasn't the solution I was looking for. I wanted to watch different programs on different tv's using the same account just as you can do with HBO, Netflix, Hulu and all the others.
