“When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing we would have very few cases.”

To him, it has never been about trying to defeat the effects of the virus. From the very beginning, it has been, to him, about defeating the bad effects of the reporting of the virus. He isn't involved in a campaign against a health crisis. He has been involved in a campaign about a public relations crisis. And I have right wing friends of mine who still invade my email with claims that it's "just like the flu". Stupidity breeds stupidity.

All five sailors had previously tested positive and had gone through at least two weeks of isolation. As part of the process, they all had to test negative twice in a row, with the tests separated by at least a day or two before they were allowed to go back to the ship.

FDA Cautions About Accuracy Of Widely Used Abbott Coronavirus Test

The Trump administration has promoted the test as a key factor in controlling the epidemic in the U.S., and it's used for daily testing at the White House.

As first reported on NPR, as many as 15 to 20 out of every 100 tests may produce falsely negative results. A study released this week indicated that the test could be missing as many as 48% of infections.

Or read World War Z by Max Brooks -don’t bother with the movie. The response from the US Government in the book is so similar to the current. Purging of career officials in the CIA for political reasons-missing the emerging virus in China and not responding until it was too late. Rushing a vaccine through knowing it wasn’t effective didn’t work just for the political and economic benefit. Giving the populace a false sense of security. And you can easily sub the zombies for trump ‘s rabid cultist followers who are like viruses they have no conscience. They only exist to survive and spread.
