Drove thru Seaside early last evening..... What an eye-opener! Crowds everywhere, absolutely no social distancing, and no one wearing masks.

Only have to wonder when all the "walking petridishes" pack up and head home...... Scary to even think about--for the tourists, as well as (and even more importantly....) for our local neighbors who work in such tourist enclaves.

I rode through there 3 times today. And while not seeing the diametrical opposite of what you report, I saw more faces covered than not. Significantly more. Outside walking, in line for the shirts, etc. I found it encouraging and trending in the right direction.

It will be odd to come back to Seagrove next week as a touron. I am loading up at HEB in Texas before we come. For those of you who don't know, HEB is grocery heaven, like Wegman's in the northeast.

Wrong again. Your president* has said it was a hoax several times. Then corrected himself that the criticism of his handling of it was a hoax. Both statements completely wrong. His obsession with getting himself re-elected is what is politicizing and causing needless deaths.

We have a secret police kidnapping people in Portland. We have a presiden* that pardons a convicted felon who aided one of our biggest adversaries to interfere in a presidential election. We have a president who extorted another nation's president in order to pressure him to find dirt on a political opponent. We are being devastated by a pandemic that virtually all of the European countries, and all the other leading countries of the world have managed in a competent way. Our president* gets his medical advice from a failed game show host. Our president* fires all the inspector generals in the administration. The most corrupt administration in history.
