A Southern Night Before Christmas

New posts
I eat my biscuits with cane syrup my family makes but it is a hard decision to pass up that southern gravy :) I love Christmas in the SOUTH! Fishin and huntin is part of my Southern Christmas tradition. Pecan pies too...

Gorgeous. I miss hills and mountains. And greenery
It was beautiful and I enjoyed it, but realized I couldn’t live there full time. When walking my granddaughter’s dog it was either up and back down or down and back up. One hundred yards felt like one hundred miles. Her six month old Shih Tzu loved loved it.

Yes those pictures are stunningly beautiful! I love to visit the mountains and see the fresh snow but my DNA has long chains of Southern Culture in my genetics. My wife's culture is from the Rocky Mountain West and when we travel there my eyes have helped record some spectacular images of a competely different type of beauty. All I know is that this planet is amazing and each geographic area seems to be a factor in our development of unique cultures. We humans are lucky or blessed or both!
