I am a general contractor that specializes in custom homes but at my core I am a carpenter. I cannot wait until my son is at a point where he can run the day to day of our companies and I can go back out into the field. I love doing carpenter work, running equipment, and figuring headaches out but the money is in running the whole show and I have a family to take care of. When I retire I will build custom furniture which is a passion of mine. I never claimed to be or never have been a wage earner, I started my first business at 22 when I retired from minor league baseball. I'm a 3rd generation tradesmen training the 4th generation.

So the answer is yes.
I am very happy for you for building a successful business through your hard work.
My brother and I were also carpenters right after our military service.

The major issue I have about the point you are pushing is this. How could they have overturned the election? You are saying they went there to overturn the election, how would this have been accomplished? This argument doesn't make sense unless you take over everything and if that was the case Jan 6th would have been insanely violent not just one protestor getting shot by a scared cop (who I think was in the right and justified because I believe he felt he had to shoot her)
This is the reason I can't get on board with what the left is pushing, there was no path to overturn.

Poppa, Please open your mind again for my post. Let me be clear just because I support Trump doesn't mean I like the guy as a person. Trump, as many of us, has a lot of faults. I could list them just like you guys but my would lack the personal insults. My support of Trump comes from a very basic concept, politicians have got us in the mess that are country is currently in and no politician (from either side) will ever get us out. I know America is not a business but we need a business man in there to get it heading in the right direction. I am not saying Trump is that businessman but I hoe you can at least follow my reason for supporting him. To me its kind of like this, I don't think anyone truly voted for Biden I think the majority of our citizens voted against Trump. Does that make sense?

They believed they had a path but it failed. They truly believed Pence could halt it so they could convince some states to install new electors. They needed to stall for time to achieve that goal. Whether it would have worked or not doesn’t matter, they believed it.
I also don’t believe the violence was planned, but trump, Brooks, and Giuliani underestimated how really stupid and gullible their audience was when giving their fire and brimstone speeches lying by telling them the election was stolen.

No I can’t follow your reasons because his is a proven lifelong lying conman. For him revenge and cruelty has always been job one.
