Stigma is the why. Same reason people find it difficult to talk about mental health issues. Attitudes about women's history, where a man gets laid a lot that is cool, when a women does something similar they are whores. When you go against a foe that seem undefeatable and what might be said that negatively affects what people believe. Just a couple of guesses

I can see a kid hiding a traumatic experience but as you grow into adulthood I cannot see burying something like the Trump thing and then by mere circumstance she just happens to come forward while it would hurt him the most

The older I get the less I believe in coincidences, maybe its just me

Secondly, this is something the left cannot grasp. I, personally, do not think most people that vote for Trump even like Trump but we are not trying to hire him to be our friend, mentor, confidant, preacher, etc. We think he will do a good job at running our country. I do not know a single person on the right that wants Trump to be our candidate but its going to happen and it will hurt our country whether he wins or loses. I do not Biden or Karmal either but I do like Kennedy. I do not have to like someone to like what they do, maybe its just me.

I don't really care at all about Jeff Bezo's but I use the s**t out of Amazon and Im glad he made it

I can only tell you of the Stigma I deal with and I was in my 50s. And everytime I share it, which I do, so others know there are people who can help, I still deal with the Stigma. Maybe at some point I will get over or grow out of it but it is a struggle I deal with now. Not trying to change your mind but maybe provide some insight, there is a book called Struggle Well. Talks about post traumatic growth and folks who have dealt with trauma and how they dealt with it

Why would your sister wait 40 years to say she was raped?

I think you just don’t like to hear the truth. You and I have privileges that others don’t. Not our fault necessarily but we should be better observers and listeners. Having a strong ego is okay if it does not hurt people. Some of what you are saying could hurt people if your actions support your words for example you think you know more than you do about science and during the pandemic your actions could have hurt people. We have debated this so I don’t want to start it up again but you lost because you don’t know more than science. That is why you lose so many arguments because you think you know everything. If you just stay in your lane you would not lose so much but what is the fun in that

Trump was not and is not good for anyone but himself. We both lose if he wins.

Biden has been a good President. It is not about whether we like them or not. It is about how well they represent us. Trump is a disaster. He says he represents you but you will pay for it trust me!
