It is not that it comes down to whether a mask works or does not work. What it does is minimizes the transmission of droplets containing viruses and when you practice better hygiene and get the vaccine the risk of transmission is lower. So you go to a family reunion or in a grocery store without doing anything your risk of infecting someone is higher. How does this not compute? What is wrong with you?

If only you had a cure for cancer instead of a big mouth the world would be a better place
Hey, you're the one who literally said you "hope" to die the way they did. That's the sad and stupid part.

The anti mask logic follows the anti condom logic. That is that if it's not 100% effective you shouldn't use it. Ironically the right loves to use condoms fail rate of 0.01% to push abstinence only education. If you apply that statistic to any of their other "issues" they call it a rounding error.

Nobody left, no parents, no grandparents but they were all men and they went out like men just like I hope to do one day
Cancer, blood clots, old age, etc.
I’m a little late to this conversation….but, all of your parents and grandparents were men? I’m a little confused here . However, if true that explains a lot.

BTW you recently mentioned your 50th birthday. I know you don’t like vaccines, but you really should consider taking the shingles vaccine. If you really think letting your body do what its supposed to do naturally, you’re in for a rude awakening when it comes it comes that one. Additionally, while you theoretically can’t pass on shingles, a person exposed to you can get chickenpox if they’ve never had it nor been vaccinated.

I think he is saying even the women died in a "manly" way, whatever that is.

I'm sorry for the way I word things sometimes
When I say men I do not always mean male, I mean people who handle their business

If all of my people were males I would be voting democrat (that was a joke)

I am not against vaccines, I was not even against this vaccine, Personally I did not take the vaccine because I did not feel the risk was worth the reward.
If I felt at risk I would have taken it but I did not want my kids (whom have not bred yet (thank god)) to take it because I do not have faith that the long term or down stream affects have been seen or weighted out. To me this vaccine was hurried through the process because it needed to be. Once I started seeing who was affected (the old, young, and at risk people) I did not see the point in getting vaccinated. I do not have a problem with people getting vaccinated nor did I have a problem with wearing a mask when I went into someones place of business that wanted them worn. I do have a problem with others telling me to wear a mask.

I was about to post an article from the Mayo Clinic but I think the pictures might help Lou a little more :)

A lot of people died because they listened to those conservative talk shows instead of educated and trained healthcare professionals. Some even decided to become Monday morning scientist. Every person I know that did not get the vaccines wish they had because it was "miserable". I tried to convince so many people to get the vaccine if not for themselves then for friends and family. Why would anyone risk another persons life because of politics? It is shameful, hurtful and sad in my opinion...
No one that I deal with daily got the vaccine and we all got covid
It was like every other flu
We took a day or 2 off, ate a few oranges, and were fine
Our bodies worked as intended and life moved on

People who were at risk or who were too scared to be around others should have taken whatever precautions they saw fit but to ask everyone to stay locked down was insane (in my opinion but I am not a doctor, nor did I go to medical school)

To say taking or not taken the vaccine was political is silly at best

Do you have a problem with others telling you to wear a seat belt?

Maybe it's the empathy factor that made them seem silly to you.

I don't like your politics but I think you are intelligent
There is no way on God green earth that this picture above was shown without more context
The most important context being the filtration size of the masks
You know better then most that the mask you where to keep out sawdust and the mask you where to keep out sheetrock dust or paint are different

The top doctors said covid was an airborne disease
They didn't say it was transmitted through the spittle
If it were that would make the masks extremely important but that is not what was sold to us
That being said I didn't go to medical school
