“How Many More Times...”

SoWal Insider
This is a simple SoWal game: In this era of extreme social distancing, how many times, and with how many people, did You break the "alligator rule" yesterday? Own it.

Zero...and that was with trips to Home Depot, Walmart, and Publix!

A couple of times in the last few days. They check your ID at Walmart when you buy beer.

Also if I'm walking past someone down an aisle, I might technically violate the gator rule.

I saw a person who was running leave the bike path, cross the road to avoid people. Little did she know there was a lot of bike riders who were going to make her do it all over again...

I was surprised to see singular people walking the bike path with masks on, hundreds of alligators away from anybody. I talked to a friend (over the phone) who happens to be a doctor, and she said when she got out on the path, she was forced many times to break the rule, for moments at a time, and that she had wished she had taken her mask with her. Passing people, and being passed by people, huffing and puffing, now presents a problem.

My personal count has not been zero every day this week. Maybe three or four people for three or four seconds. Lowe's is my main concern. I have a homemade mask sitting on the seat of my truck, but have yet to use it. Ten people had masks or bandanas at Lowes a few days ago. I guess when that number gets to twenty, I'll be one of them.
