We boarded up on the 12th and went back to GA. So on the 14th we were in GA worrying about our house. Got the all clear that the roads and bridges were passable by the 17th, so we drove down to check on our house. We had no damage. The front row houses got it the worst, but not as bad as I would have expected. Funny story is about the dog on the beach. We thought that his master had told him to stay, and he was obeying. Then I decided to check it out. It was a concrete dog that had been carried from the top of a high walkover and ended up on the beach. Someone put a bandana on him, and others left toys. One thing that surprised us is that the leaves turned brown.
